Waldorf Form Drawings

Are you working with your kids this year on form drawings? In the Waldorf curriculum, using form drawings helps teach handwriting to children and also a way to get them to gain control over their hand movements. It is also a great way to get better with writing cursive.

There are some advanced form drawings and some easy ones to do with your child. All of that depends on where your child is developmentally.

Storytelling is part of Waldorf education as well and I wanted to share this link with you for free stories and form drawings for your elementary student. It also has pictures of common forms that you can start your child off with.

I definitely modified the story a little but I use it for form introduction before any letter introductions.

Hope it helps!
